No. Fyno Flows is a visual canvas designed for marketing, ops, and CRM teams. You drag notification steps, add wait conditions, insert if-else branches, and connect to backend APIs without writing code. When business logic changes, such as a new channel cascade, a new segment condition, or a new wait time, your ops team updates the flow directly. No engineering ticket, no sprint cycle, no redeployment. Each flow also generates its own API endpoint that your backend systems can trigger, so that once a flow is built, it becomes a reusable piece of infrastructure that ops owns end to end.
Regular WhatsApp templates are single outbound messages. WhatsApp Flows are app-like interactive experiences that run inside the WhatsApp interface: multi-step forms, dynamic menus, and actionable surfaces. Fyno is a direct technology partner of Meta for building these native experiences. Current deployments include credit card limit management, ATM withdrawal configuration, KYC collection, and lead capture with form submission. There are two modes: chatbot-style messaging flows that Fyno builds from its platform, and native app-like flows that use Meta's dashboard with Fyno handling the technical build for your team. For BFSI use cases like HDFC Bank's credit card limit management POC, native flows remove the need for a separate in-app experience on WhatsApp.
Fyno Flows currently supports WhatsApp and RCS as primary channels for guided experiences. WhatsApp is the dominant messaging channel in Indian BFSI, with the highest open rates and customer familiarity. RCS is an emerging channel supported natively on Android devices that offers rich media, carousels, and interactive buttons without requiring a separate app installation. Both channels support the structured, multi-step interactions that Fyno Flows is built for. The platform handles message formatting, media attachments, button rendering, and input validation for each channel natively so that teams design the journey once and deploy it across supported channels.
Traditional messaging platforms send messages. Chatbots attempt open-ended conversations. Fyno Flows does neither. It builds guided, structured journeys where each step has a defined purpose, a specific input, and a clear next action. A customer opening a fixed deposit through Fyno Flows is not chatting with a bot. They are completing a transaction through a series of structured screens inside WhatsApp, each pulling live data from your banking system. The experience feels like a lightweight app, not a conversation. This distinction matters for BFSI because guided flows produce predictable outcomes, complete audit trails, and higher completion rates than open-ended chatbot interactions.
Yes. The visual no-code editor is designed for marketing, product, and operations teams. Users build flows by dragging steps onto a canvas, defining inputs, connecting to APIs using pre-built connectors, and setting conditional logic with a point-and-click interface. No SQL, no code, no engineering tickets. Teams can preview flows before publishing and iterate on live journeys without deployment cycles. For governance, maker-checker controls ensure that new flows or changes go through an approval workflow before reaching customers. This gives business teams the speed to launch new experiences while maintaining the oversight that compliance and risk teams require.
Every data payload processed through Fyno Flows is encrypted in transit and at rest. For interactive flows that collect KYC details, Aadhaar numbers, PAN, or loan documents, end-to-end encryption is enforced at the WhatsApp Flow level. SMS templates used inside any flow are DLT-compliant. Sensitive financial flows can be deployed without stacking additional security controls on top.
BFSI customers today are asked to download apps, visit branches, or navigate complex web portals to complete simple tasks. Fyno Flows moves those tasks into WhatsApp, the app they already use daily. A customer can complete KYC verification, open a deposit, or raise a service request without switching apps, downloading anything, or calling a helpline. Each flow is guided, which means the customer always knows what to do next. For banks, this translates to higher completion rates on onboarding and service journeys, lower call centre volume, and measurably shorter time-to-completion for processes that currently take days.
Fyno Flows tracks completion rates, drop-off points, and step-level engagement for every published flow. Teams can see exactly where customers abandon a journey, which steps take the longest, and which branches are most frequently triggered. This data is available per flow, per channel, and per time period. For BFSI teams running onboarding or deposit journeys, this visibility is operational: if 40% of customers drop off at the document upload step, the team can redesign that specific step without rebuilding the entire flow. Analytics also surface channel-level comparison so that teams can evaluate whether WhatsApp or RCS delivers higher completion for a given journey type.
