Sync / Re-sync Templates

If a template already exists in your WhatsApp Business Account, connect the integration to sync it into Fyno and use it immediately without recreating it. If you’re integrated with a supported WhatsApp service provider, Fyno can fetch and sync your existing templates directly.

What Syncing Does

Syncing imports data from your WhatsApp Business Account:

  • All message templates (for example, Approved, Pending, Rejected, Disabled, etc.)
  • WhatsApp Flows
  • Template metadata (category, quality rating, status updates)

Steps to Sync / Re-sync WhatsApp Templates

  1. Go to Sync WhatsApp Templates.
  2. Select the required Integration (grouped by WABA / Namespace).
  3. Click Sync.

NOTE: The system imports all templates and flows associated with the selected integration, regardless of approval status.

Re-sync Individual templates

Use this when you only need to update or fetch a specific template instead of syncing everything.

When to Re-sync

  • Status changed (Approved, Rejected, Disabled, Pending)
  • Template content/components updated
  • Rejected template fixed and resubmitted
  • WhatsApp Flow created or modified

If the status shown in Fyno looks outdated, refresh it:

  1. Click Re-sync Templates.
  2. Wait for the sync to complete.
  3. Check the Last synced time to confirm the update.
