Discord

Discord is a popular communication platform for communities and teams. Fyno enables you to send notifications to Discord servers and channels using a Discord Bot.

Find the Provider

Navigate to Integrations and select Discord under the Chat category.

Configure the Integration

Provide the following details:

  • Custom Name: Enter a unique name to identify the Discord account within Fyno.
  • Bot Token: Enter the Bot Token generated for your Discord bot from the Discord Developer Portal.

Note: Keep your bot token secure. If you regenerate the token in the Discord Developer Portal, update it in Fyno to continue sending notifications.

Complete the Integration

Click Add Account to save the configuration. Once added successfully, the Discord account becomes available for sending notifications.

Message Delivery Status

Discord does not provide message delivery status for notifications sent through its Bot API. This is a platform limitation and cannot be configured in Fyno.

As soon as Discord introduces support for message delivery status, Fyno will add support for the capability.

Until then, Trace records for Discord notifications will not include the Delivery tab.
