26.2.4
Enhanced analytics and reporting with provider latency monitoring, complete notification lifecycle tracking, and richer delivery insights. Introduced improved authentication controls, a DOCX-powered PDF builder, and multiple usability and reliability enhancements.
π New Features
-
Provider Latency Analytics
- Introduced a new Provider Latency chart on the Dashboard to provide deeper visibility into provider performance.
- Users can now monitor both provider response latency and notification delivery latency through easy-to-understand distribution charts.
- Latency metrics are categorized into:
- Less than 1 second
- 1β5 seconds
- Greater than 5 seconds
- The new visualization helps teams proactively monitor provider health, troubleshoot latency issues, and optimize notification routing decisions.
-
Analytics β Expanded Delivery Rate Reporting
- Enhanced the Notification Event Delivery Rates report to provide visibility into the complete notification lifecycle.
- Users can now analyze delivery metrics across all relevant statuses, including:
- Attempted
- Delivered
- Failed
- Error
- Timeout
- Rejected
- Expired
- Undelivered
- No DLR
- The expanded view also includes integration-wise and channel-wise breakdowns, percentage calculations, status visibility controls, and improved reporting insights.
- This enhancement helps users better understand delivery outcomes and investigate failures without relying on multiple reports.
-
PDF Templates β New DOCX Editor & PDF Builder
- Introduced a new DOCX-based editing experience for PDF templates.
- The update includes an enhanced PDF builder with improved document authoring capabilities, seamless switching between editor modes, refined margin configuration controls, and better header/footer alignment behavior.
- The underlying PDF generation engine has also been upgraded to improve rendering consistency and template compatibility, providing a more reliable document creation experience.
-
Data Masking β Regex-based Sensitive Data Detection
- Introduced Regex Masking as a new Data Masking option. Instead of masking entire payloads, Fyno now automatically detects and masks sensitive information using predefined pattern-matching rules. Supported patterns include email addresses, phone numbers, government identifiers, bank account details, financial identifiers, and other recognized sensitive data formats. Non-sensitive information remains visible in logs, improving readability while maintaining data protection.
β‘ Feature Enhancements
-
Event Analytics β Channel-wise Delivery Performance
- Added channel-wise delivery reporting within Event Analytics.
- Users can now view delivered notification counts across Email, SMS, WhatsApp, Push, InApp, and other supported channels.
- This provides better visibility into channel contribution and helps teams evaluate channel effectiveness for individual events.
-
Logs β No DLR Status Filter
- Added a dedicated No DLR filter within Sent Logs.
- Users can now quickly identify messages that did not receive delivery callbacks from providers.
- This enhancement simplifies troubleshooting and improves visibility into notifications with unknown delivery outcomes.
-
Analytics β Locale-aware Number Formatting
- Improved number formatting consistency across Analytics and Dashboard experiences.
- Numeric values and compact number displays now follow the formatting preferences configured in the userβs profile settings.
- This ensures a more consistent and familiar reporting experience across the platform.
-
Analytics β Attempted Status Support
- Added Attempted as a supported notification status across analytics reporting.
- Updated Dashboard metrics, Delivery Rate reports, Event Analytics, Campaign Analytics, and supporting charts to include Attempted status visibility.
- Improved tooltip descriptions, status labeling, icons, and reporting accuracy to better reflect notification lifecycle metrics.
-
Logs β Event Type Filter
- Added an Event Type filter across Sent Logs, Event Logs, and Callback Logs to help users quickly narrow down log entries based on notification event types. The filter is displayed before the Events column and uses the same event type icons available in the Suppression List, ensuring a consistent and familiar user experience across the platform.
-
Report Downloads β Status Filter
- Added support for Status filters when downloading reports. Users can now generate exports containing only notifications that match selected statuses, making it easier to analyze specific delivery outcomes and investigate issues without additional post-processing.
-
WhatsApp Templates β Dynamic URL Configuration Improvements
- Improved the Dynamic URL configuration experience for WhatsApp templates to reduce user confusion and simplify template setup. The update introduces clearer field guidance, simultaneous visibility of both the configured URL and Sample URL values, and enhanced validation for Sample URL inputs.
-
Templates β Multi-select Channel Filter
- Users can now filter templates by selecting multiple channels simultaneously within the Templates page.
- This enhancement makes it easier to discover and manage templates across Email, SMS, WhatsApp, Push, InApp, and other supported channels without applying filters one at a time.
- The updated filtering experience improves navigation efficiency and helps users quickly locate relevant templates in large workspaces.
π Bug Fixes
-
Email Logs β Recipient Information Rendering
- Fixed an issue where recipient information was not displayed correctly for certain email notifications.
- Improved handling of email-only recipients, name-and-email combinations, and mixed recipient formats across To, CC, and BCC fields.
- Users can now reliably review recipient details without rendering issues.
-
Analytics β Delivery Rate Reporting Improvements
- Fixed multiple issues affecting the Delivery Rates expanded view.
- Logs links now preserve the selected date range when navigating from reports.
- Analytics Label selections are now retained when opening expanded views.
- Corrected Attempted metrics to display actual attempted counts instead of requested counts.
- Event breakdown metrics now respect user locale formatting preferences.
-
Omni-channel Routes β Provider Selection
- Fixed an issue where selected providers were not loading correctly in Omni-channel configurations.
- Provider selections are now displayed and applied as expected.
-
InApp Templates β Button Configuration Experience
- Improved the InApp template authoring experience by hiding button configuration fields until users explicitly choose to add a button.
- This creates a cleaner and more intuitive editing experience while reducing unnecessary visual clutter.
-
InApp SDK β Empty Button Rendering (available for 2.0.0-alpha-03)
- Fixed an issue where InApp notifications could display empty action buttons even when no button was configured.
- The SDK now renders buttons only when valid button configurations exist, ensuring notifications accurately reflect their template design.
-
URL Shortening β Placeholder Mapping Fix
- Fixed an issue where newly added placeholders in button URLs were incorrectly treated as override URLs, preventing the associated replace_with_id value from being saved in the Short URL configuration.
- Placeholder mappings are now correctly recognized and persisted, ensuring dynamic URL replacement behaves as expected during message delivery.
